I am StJohn Wright from Notarial Services (Yorkshire & Derbyshire), practicing as StJohn Wright Notary Public. And welcome to the first Blog Post of this new series about ‘Flags of the World’!
The Flag of India (as seen on the right) has saffron, white, and green stripe colours which represent courage and sacrifice, peace and truth, and faith and chivalry, respectively. As a Notary, I hold similar values and I strive to complete my work for you with integrity and care.
India is a vibrant South Asian country where many cultures co-exist. There are 22 local languages across India, which provides vast opportunities to fully immerse yourself into the Indian way of life. If you are planning to send your child abroad (without you with them), you may need a Notary, like me, to notarise a letter of consent for your child to travel.
This country is where the origins of Chess began 1500 years ago, when it was originally known as Chaturańga. “Romantic Chess” was the predominant playing style from the 1700s-1880s. Chess games of the time were based on fast, tactical moves, as opposed to long-term strategy plans. In the 20th Century, chess theory improved, and the World Chess Federation was established. Computer analysis – which started in the 1970s with the 1st programmed chess games – were influential in chess theory developments and helped prepare professional chess players. Online chess, which first appeared in the mid-1990s, was popular in the 21st Century. Today, it is still a widely recognised game for two people with numerous competitions, from school children all the way up to Grand Masters in National and Global Championships! So, what is your next move? You may need a Notary to help you open a foreign bank account, if you are planning to move to a different country, in the future.
India has a lot of well-known cuisine and one I would like to address is Biryani, which is a staple dish of traditional food in India. The origins of Biryani are unknown, but it is commonly eaten in areas surrounding New Delhi. Biryani started as a simple and inexpensive way for people from India to cook rice (this was sometimes done by baking the dish in a tandoor oven. Like Biryani, I try to keep my notarial practices as simple as possible to ease the legal process for my clients. I hope that I will be able to impress you with my good-value-for-money services. I have been practicing in this area for 16 years, so you know you will receive the quality you deserve!
Half of the population in India is under the age of 25. So, proportionally, there are fewer older people in the country who require healthcare and additional support at the end of their lives. If you or someone you know has had a loved one pass away abroad, you may require my services to form a Power of Attorney. This will inform people abroad what you intend to happen to the land/possessions of your loved one(s), seeing as you are unable to be there in person.
Modes of transport are crucial when travelling throughout India because India’s road network is long enough to loop around Earth over 117 times. This vast network allows people across India to travel to many Indian provinces with relative ease. Do you have a passport? If not, you will need to obtain consent for a passport from a Notary, such as myself.
To conclude, I am a Notary, who has been practicing for 16 years, and I would urge you to get into contact with me if you require any of the services that I have mentioned in this blog post. Please see my website (Notary in Sheffield | England | StJohn Wright Notary Public) to find out more about me and what I can do to help you. Also, do not hesitate to call me on 07863252272.
Thank you for reading this first Blog Post on the ‘Flags of the World’. Keep your eyes open for the next one about the USA.
