Flags of the World - Brazil Blog Post
Olá! I am StJohn Wright from Notarial Services (Yorkshire & Derbyshire) Limited, practicing as StJohn Wright Notary Public. Welcome to the fourth blog post about ‘Flags of the World’: this week the blog post is about Brazil.
Brazil’s flag symbolises the government of the people. The banner in the flag means “Order and Progress” in Portuguese (which is the official language of Brazil). The green symbolises the lush landscape, deep forests, and fertile fields; the blue sphere around the stars resembles the bright blue sky; and the yellow diamond represents gold and diamonds, as the early wealth of Brazil originated from gold and diamond mining.
Brazil has profited from its sugar and coffee plantations. As an avid coffee drinker, it is interesting to know that Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of coffee! This transfer of goods to people like me in the UK, requires vast amounts of logistical skills and business co-ordination: they need the ability to obtain a bank account in a foreign country. If you need to open a foreign bank account for your company, do not hesitate to look any further than myself. As you can see from my website, I do this service as part of my notary work, please contact me via the contact details at the bottom, to discuss your options.
Brazil’s national dish is Feijoada, which is a black bean stew with dried, salted, and smoked meat. Additionally, Brazil’s national drink is a cocktail called Caipirinha, it includes cachaça (a distilled spirit made from fermented sugarcane juice), lime and sugar. A non-alcoholic national drink of Brazil is Swiss Lemonade (Limonada SuÍça), which consists of limes, water, sugar, and ice.
Did you know that Brazil is home to the largest population of Japanese people outside of Japan? Well, it’s true! The first settlers of Japanese residents arrived in 1908, escaping poverty and unemployment in Japan, and were heading for the coffee plantations of Brazil’s south which were in pressing need of labourers after the abolition of slavery in 1888. If you have moved away from your country of origin or your family has, and a member of your family has passed away, you may be able to legally take control of the proceedings without leaving the country, through a Power of Attorney. As StJohn Wright Notary Public, I do provide this service and I would gladly discuss the options available to you if you contact me via the contact details at the bottom of this blog post.
Brazil holds 70% of the Amazon Rainforest, whilst the rest is housed in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela, and French Guyana. The Amazon Rainforest occupies the drainage basin of the Amazon River and its tributaries in Northern South America. It is the world’s richest and biodiverse area, containing several million species of insects, plants, birds and other life forms.
To conclude, I am a Notary, who has been practicing for 16 years, and I would urge you to get into contact with me if you require any of the services that I have mentioned in this blog post. Please see my website (Notary in Sheffield | England | StJohn Wright Notary Public) to find out more about me and what I can do to help you. Also, do not hesitate to call me on 07863252272.
